Bastion provides administrative assistance to the dean, coordinating his daily schedule, files and projects. She maintains all faculty evaluation, promotion and tenure files. She prepares materials for meetings with the board of regents, faculty senate and other committees as needed by the dean, maintains committee lists and and coordinates the dean’s list mailings.

Hoverson coordinates event planning and various calendars for Academic Affairs. She manages communications for the Academic Affairs office, including websites, portal, C-news, mailings, etc. She provides assistance to the Division Chair for Core & Academic Development, including inquiry seminar, faculty development and summer workshop planning. She also assists with Graduate Program administration.

She processes faculty contracts (adjunct, paraprofessional/clinical assistants, summer school, etc.) and assists with faculty searches and hiring processes. She maintains various budgets within academic affairs including grant-related, faculty development and dean’s travel funds. She also provides administrative assistance to Kay Schneider.
